“Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

The Prayer Ministry is a vital and foundational ministry of Ebenezer Oromo Evangelical Church. It has long been a source of spiritual strength and encouragement for the entire church body. This ministry is dedicated to standing in the gap for individuals and families, lifting up a wide variety of needs with compassion, faith, and perseverance.
Through regular prayer gatherings, intercession, fasting, and special prayer programs, the Prayer Ministry faithfully lifts up the church, the community, and the nations before God. United in faith and humility, we continue to stand on the promise of Scripture: “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

We believe that a church that neglects prayer cannot withstand the intensity of spiritual battle. Prayer is the most powerful weapon God has given to His church—not a human idea or abstract theory, but a divinely appointed means through which believers communicate with the living God and advance His Kingdom. God Himself commands His people to pray, and therefore, it is essential that the church continually seeks the face of the Lord through persistent and faithful prayer.
